None The Less EP Review
None The Less EP Review
The Way To Save Ourselves is the debut mini album release from Watford based band None The Less. The album is not released until the 3rd August but if you feel like you have heard these tracks somewhere before chances are you have! None The Less have done over 250 gigs since 2007 so I can only assume they have been to a town near you recently.
However, all that touring has most definitely paid off as their album does not appear to showcase an up and coming band, rather one just reaching their comfort zone around their third or fourth album. There is not a hint of amateur, over the top screaming and shouting or painfully screeching guitar riffs.
None The Less do all of the aforementioned but they do it right! Everything is in exactly the right proportion and they even manage to put a melody throughout most of the songs. For me, I Had The World Resting On Me is the best track. Vocals, drums and guitar just work effortlessly together to create an amazing track.
This album must be the first of many for None The Less and that can only be a good thing for British metal music.
